Wednesday, as regular readers will know, is a a non-working day for me. It is a day to catch up, to rest, to read to potter about, to cook. This morning started with a much needed visit to the osteopath for a straighten out. He did a great job on my stiffened up body, so felt that I could treat myself to a cheese scone and pot of tea at Pravda before Pilates (featured image at the top of the post and below).

Pilates also revived body and spirit – by the end of the ‘foot regime’ my arms will certainly be stronger! I then ‘hopped’on the bus (sorry!) and headed home, picking up a small box of sushi on the way home.
I had a couple of books to return to the library, and after much deliberation, picked up another two. I spotted this little red mushroom or toadstool on the way there, and met a gorgeous black and white cat on the way home, who was not keen on my stick nor the barking dog on the other side of the road.

A parcel was delivered, full of daffodil, hyacinth and tulip bulbs. Goodness knows when or how these will get planted, but I do like the message on the box.

After getting through the ironing and doing my daily puzzles, I set about making dinner (the outcome of which will be in next Wednesday’s cookbook challenge hosted by Jo of Brookford Farm Diaries).
